Listen While You Work
In February of 2011, the new Apologetics Press Web site was launched, and we have been working relentlessly ever since to keep it up-to-date and state of the art. The Lord has blessed this edification and evangelistic effort immensely. Thanks to readers like yourself, we have received millions of page views and the annual numbers continue to increase!
We are committed to helping the Lord’s kingdom to grow and “be ready to give a defense” (1 Peter 3:15). To that end, please be aware, and make use, of the new Web site’s multimedia section—a feature which constitutes an upgrade from the old Web site. The media page was given a “facelift” in early 2013.
Through the media page, one can view or listen to various lectures, sermons, and seminars given by A.P. speakers over the past several years—for free. Since its inception, the new Web site’s media page has added over 150 files, including over 100 audio files and 50 video files—five of which are full-length Digger Doug’s Underground episodes. More media selections are constantly being added. If you don’t feel like sitting down to read, or if you would like to have some wholesome, Christian material playing in the background as you work that simultaneously prepares you for defending the truth, please make use of this excellent feature.
Here’s how. Click on “Multimedia” in the left column. You will then see the media player search bar and the speakers that are featured in the media files, and under that, this week’s suggested audio and video files. You can use the search bar to look for a topic or speaker to your liking, or click “Topics” to see how we have organized the various media options. After you select a file to watch or listen to, you will notice that you have the option of sharing the file with others through, for example, Facebook, and you can click “like” or “tweet” to tell others as well. This is a simple way to evangelize and spread the word about what A.P. does.
As always, thanks for your interest and support of Apologetics Press. And please—spread the word to friends!
